What is the working principle of wood chip conveyor belt

The working principle of wood chip conveyor belt is to convert the rotational energy of the drive motor into the linear movement of the belt or chain, so as to continuously and stably convey loose wood chips and other materials from one point to another.

The wood chips are evenly loaded onto the surface of the conveyor belt through the feed hopper or manually.

The motor drives the roller through the reducer to make the conveyor belt run along a fixed track (horizontal, inclined or vertical), and the wood chips move with the belt. The belt speed is usually 0.5-3 m/s, which is suitable for the lightweight characteristics of wood chips.
